Charlotte Kerner

Charlotte Kerner (born 1950 in Speyer) is an author and science journalist. She worked, among other publications, for DIE ZEIT, GEO and EMMA. She is known for novels including “Geboren 1999,” “Blueprint” (“Blaupause”) and “Jane Reloaded,” as well as for biographies of scientists and other historical figures, including Maria Sibylla Merian and Lise Meitner. She received the German Youth Literature Prize for “Blueprint” and for her biography of Lise Meitner. Her other honors include the GEDOK Schleswig-Holstein Literature Prize.
