Catherine Belton is a British journalist and author. After working for the Reuters news agency, she reported from Moscow for the Financial Times from 2007 to 2013. Her 2020 book, “Putin’s People” (German edition: “Putins Netz”), was named Book of the Year by The Economist, the Financial Times, The New Statesman and The Telegraph. In Germany, it was among the best-selling nonfiction books in 2022.
