Carolyn Haines

Carolyn Haines (born 1953) is an American author and former journalist. She is best known for her humorous mystery novels featuring private investigator Sarah Booth Delaney. Haines has also written Southern novels that portray the Mississippi region in the 20th century in an atmospheric style. Her work has received numerous awards, including the Harper Lee Award.
