Caroline Hwang

Caroline Hwang studied illustration at Art Center College of Design. She subsequently worked as a cook, including as a kitchen assistant and chef de partie, and ran a supper club. She later worked as a food stylist for clients including Food & Wine magazine and Starbucks. Hwang grew up in Los Angeles’s Koreatown, where she was introduced to cooking through her grandmother’s simple, flavorful dishes.
