Carolina De Robertis

Carolina De Robertis (born 1975) is a writer of Uruguayan heritage. She grew up in England, Switzerland, and California. In addition to writing, she has worked as a translator from Spanish and for the Huffington Post. Her debut novel, *Die unsichtbaren Stimmen*, brought her international recognition; it was published in more than 20 countries and remained on Germany’s Spiegel bestseller list for 14 weeks. Her other works include *Perla*, a novel about the history of Argentina’s “disappeared.”
