Carmen-Maja Antoni, born in Berlin in 1945, worked as an actress in theatre, film, television and radio plays. She spent more than forty years at the Berliner Ensemble, where she played, among other roles, Mother Courage. She became widely known for playing the eccentric sister of village policeman Horst Krause and a forthright secretary in the television series »Rosa Roth«. She also appeared in the series »Mord mit Aussicht«.
