Carlton Mellick III, born in 1977 in Phoenix, Arizona, is an American author associated with Bizarro Fiction, a form of fiction characterized by bizarre, satirical and grotesque subjects, often set in fantasy or science-fiction worlds. His first publication was the short story “Playroom” in 1999. His novel “Warrior Wolf Women of the Wasteland” won the Wonderland Book Award. In 2010, the German publisher Festa began translating his works into German.
