She became known for her crime series featuring Ira Wittekind, which brought her success as a self-published author in 2013. With The Old One Has to Go, she moved into humorous fiction. Under the pseudonym Felicitas Fuchs, she publishes historical family novels; her Mothers trilogy became a SPIEGEL bestseller.
