Carl Freytag

Dr. Carl Freytag studied physics and worked at the Meteorological Institute of the University of Munich until 1996. He received his doctorate in 1976 with a dissertation on atmospheric turbulence and completed his habilitation in 1988 with a study of wind in the Inn Valley. Alongside meteorology, he engaged with cultural history, philosophy, and contemporary history, and worked as a freelance writer and translator.
