Calla Henkel

Calla Henkel (born 1988 in Minneapolis) is an American author, director, artist, and playwright. She has directed, among other venues, at Berlin’s Volksbühne. Her artworks created in collaboration with Max Pitegoff have been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide, including the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. Her debut novel, Fame for a Night, and the novel A Last Gift were published by Kein & Aber.
