Butz Peters

Butz Peters (born 1958) is a lawyer, journalist, and author. He worked as a radio and television reporter for ARD and ZDF and headed the legal policy department at Norddeutscher Rundfunk. As Eduard Zimmermann’s successor, he hosted the ZDF program “Aktenzeichen XY … ungelöst” and wrote the series “Verbrechen in Deutschland – Butz Peters ermittelt.” Peters has published several books on internal security, including three works on the history of the Red Army Faction.
