Brunonia Barry

Brunonia Barry was born and raised in Massachusetts. She studied literature at Green Mountain College in Vermont and the University of New Hampshire. She spent a year in Dublin studying James Joyce’s “Ulysses” in depth. Barry co-founded the Portland Stage Company and worked as a screenwriter in California. She initially self-published her debut novel, “Die Mondschwimmerin,” which was sold in more than 20 countries and spent several weeks near the top of The New York Times bestseller list.
