Brigitte Karner

Brigitte Karner, born in 1953, studied acting in Zurich and was subsequently engaged by Schauspielhaus Zürich. She worked in theater, film, and television and appeared in numerous stage and screen productions across Europe. In 1985, she appeared in the television miniseries “Lenz oder die Freiheit,” during the production of which she met actor Peter Simonischek. They were married from 1989 until his death in 2023.
