Brigitte Hoffmann

Brigitte Hoffmann is a trained engineer who completed postgraduate studies at the Academy of Media Arts. During her studies, she worked as an animation artist and animation camera operator, and later also as a script editor. On behalf of the WDR family editorial department, she supervised the development of numerous Käpt'n Blaubär scripts for the television program „Die Sendung mit der Maus“. From 2007 onward, she wrote nonfiction books for the „Pixi-Wissen“ series and went on to write other nonfiction books and stories for children. She also headed the editorial department of the family magazine „hopsa“.
