Brigitte Giraud

Brigitte Giraud was born in 1960 in Sidi Bel-Abbès, Algeria. She studied German and English and worked, among other roles, as a bookseller in Lübeck, as well as a translator and journalist. She has published several novels, including Schnell leben, which received the Prix Goncourt in 2022.
