Bret Anthony Johnston

Bret Anthony Johnston (born in Texas in 1971) is an American writer. He published the short-story collection “Corpus Christi” (2004), the novels “Justins Heimkehr” and “We Burn Daylight,” and edited “Naming the World and Other Exercises for the Creative Writer” (2008). He also wrote the screenplay for the documentary “Waiting for Lightning” (2012). Johnston taught fiction writing at Harvard University. His work has received several awards, including the Sunday Times Short Story Award.
