Brad Inwood

Brad Inwood is a Canadian scholar of ancient philosophy. He was educated at Brock University and the University of Toronto and taught for many years at the University of Toronto before moving to Yale University in 2015. His research experience includes a year at Cambridge and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford, as well as fellowships at the National Humanities Center and the Centre for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences. Stoicism is a major focus of his work; he has also written on Empedocles and other areas of ancient Greek and Roman philosophy.
