Boris von Brauchitsch

Boris von Brauchitsch (born 1963 in Aachen) studied art history, archaeology and history in Frankfurt am Main, Bonn and Berlin, and completed a doctorate on the history of photography. He worked as an art historian, author, editor, curator and photographer. His publications include biographies of Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Adolphe de Meyer, Gabriele Münter and Herbert List, as well as books on the history of photography and classical modernism. Other works explore historical photographs of Berlin, including those depicting bicycles, railways, aviation and automobiles.
