Bob Willoughby (1927–2009) was a photographer. He took his first photograph at the age of twelve and became known for his images of jazz musicians and dancers. In 1954, he signed a contract with Globe Photos and subsequently worked for Harper’s Bazaar. After photographing Judy Garland during the filming of *A Star Is Born*, he became the first still photographer specifically hired by film studios to produce publicity images during film production. His work appeared in magazines and numerous photography books.
