Birgit Peters

Birgit Peters, born in 1978, studied law at Trier University and Humboldt University of Berlin and completed a master’s degree at King’s College, University of London. She received her doctorate from Humboldt University of Berlin in 2008 and completed her habilitation in Speyer in 2020. From 2015 to 2020, she was a junior professor of public law, specializing in European and international law, at the University of Rostock. In the winter semester of 2020, she was appointed professor of public law, with a focus on international and European law, at Trier University.
