Birgit Kirberg

Birgit Kirberg studied applied linguistics in Germersheim, Germany. She translated from Spanish, Catalan, and French and wrote dialogue scripts for the dubbing of foreign-language films and television series. In 2020, she received a fellowship from the German Fund for Literary Translators for her translation of Emilia Pardo Bazán’s novel »Doña Milagros«. In 2021, the anthology »Natur Poesie«, a collection of Mexican poetry translated into German with Christian Filips, was published.
