Bill Mascull

Bill Mascull studied Spanish at the University of Edinburgh and completed teacher training and an MA in English Language Teaching at Lancaster University. He taught adult English in Sweden and France, trained teachers and specialised in business English. He subsequently wrote corpus-based learning materials, including “Key Words in Business” and, with Jeremy Comfort, “Best Practice”. He also authored coursebooks and self-study materials and contributed to business dictionaries published by Pearson/Longman and Cambridge University Press. His interest in languages began when an uncle lent him a Teach Yourself book on Serbo-Croat, an experience that influenced his later work as a materials writer.
