Bertram Kober

Bertram Kober was born in Leipzig in 1961 and studied photography at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig under Evelyn Richter and Arno Fischer. In 1990, he co-founded the photography agency Punctum Leipzig. His work received awards including the Kodak Photo Calendar Prize and the prize for “Best photograph of the 54th International Art Exhibition” at the Venice Biennale. From 2005 onward, Kober taught at the Neue Schule für Fotografie in Berlin; his photographs have appeared in numerous publications and exhibitions.
