Benjamin Graham

Benjamin Graham (1894–1976) was an American economist and investor. He taught at Columbia University from 1928 to 1957 and managed the Graham-Newman Investment Fund. Graham is regarded as a founder of modern, or fundamental, securities analysis and as a pioneer of value investing. He is best known for his books *The Intelligent Investor* and *Security Analysis*.
