Ben Ansell

Ben Ansell is a political scientist and professor at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. After completing his PhD at Harvard University, he taught for several years at the University of Minnesota before being appointed to the University of Oxford in 2013. In 2018, he was elected a Fellow of the British Academy. Ansell is the author of three award-winning scholarly books; Why Politics Fails is his first book for a general readership.
