Beka

Beka is the pseudonym of the French writing duo Bertrand Escaich (born 1973) and Caroline Roque (born 1975). They met at an African dance class at the University of Toulouse, where they initially studied natural sciences. Roque wrote novels and short stories during her studies, some of which were adapted for film. After one of her stories received an award, she devoted herself entirely to writing and began co-creating young adult novels and humorous comics with Escaich.
