Becky Chambers

Becky Chambers (born 1985) is an American author. She grew up in California as the daughter of an astrobiologist and an aerospace engineer. She financed the writing of her debut novel through a Kickstarter campaign, and the book became a surprise success. She received the Hugo Award for her four-volume Wayfarers series and for the first novel in the Dex & Helmling series.
