Barbara Otzen

Barbara Otzen is an author who has published travel guides and nonfiction books together with Hans Otzen. Their early travel publications focused, among other places, on the Amazon region, the Andes and East Africa. Later, the pair turned their attention to European countries including France, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands, with a particular focus on the Rhineland and the Eifel. Their books address landscape, history, art and culture as well as regional food and wine. Together, Barbara and Hans Otzen have also published cookbooks, wine travel guides and art-historical volumes on cemeteries, castles, palaces and monasteries.
