Barbara Newhall Follett

Barbara Newhall Follett (born 1914) was an American writer who was regarded as a child prodigy. At the age of twelve, she published her first novel, *The House Without Windows*, which became a bestseller. A second book followed a year later. In late 1939, at the age of 25, Follett left her home and was never seen again. Her fate remains unknown.
