Barbara Engel

Barbara Engel is a German architect and urban planner. She received her doctorate in 2004 and was a visiting professor at Kent State University in the United States in 2007/2008. From 2008 to 2013, she headed the inner-city department at the City Planning Office in Dresden. From 2013 onward, she taught international urban planning and design at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
