Bahram Moradi (born 1960 in Broujerd, Iran) began working in the theatre in the 1970s as an actor, playwright and director. He fled Iran in the mid-1980s. He subsequently began writing short stories and novels in Germany. Moradi published six books in Persian; The Weight of Others appeared in the original in 2021.
