Bae Suah

Bae Suah was born in Seoul in 1965 and studied chemistry. She wrote her first short story almost by accident while learning touch typing on a computer. She has published numerous novels and short-story collections and translated works by Franz Kafka, W. G. Sebald, and Christian Kracht into Korean. Her novel “A Greater Music” was her first work published in German.
