Ayano Imai

Ayano Imai was born in England in 1980. During her childhood, she traveled around the world with her family and lived, among other places, in Japan and the United States. She later studied Japanese painting at Musashino University in Tokyo, where she developed an interest in illustration. Her work has been shown in exhibitions held as part of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
