Axel Spilcker

Axel Spilcker, born in 1963, is a journalist and author. He began his journalistic career in 1993, initially working for 20 years as an editor at the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger. He subsequently worked for Focus, where he headed the Düsseldorf bureau until 2017. Spilcker received the Wächter Award of the German daily press twice and published several books.
