Axel Kuhn

Axel Kuhn, born in 1943, studied history, German studies and philosophy. He received his doctorate in 1969 and his habilitation in modern history in 1975. From 1981 onward, he taught modern history as a professor at the University of Stuttgart’s Institute of History. His research and publications focus on the history of democratic movements in Germany, the history of labor and everyday life, and the French Revolution.
