Ava Dellaira

Ava Dellaira studied at the University of Chicago and was a Truman Capote Fellow at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She worked in the film industry and is the author of the novel “Love Letters to the Dead.” According to Dellaira, the novel began when she repeatedly listened to Nirvana’s album “In Utero” while filling pages of her journal. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
