Asne Seierstad

Åsne Seierstad, born in Oslo in 1970, worked as a correspondent and war reporter for various international newspapers. She published several works of nonfiction, including The Bookseller of Kabul (2002), One of Us (2016) and Two Sisters: Into the Syrian Jihad (2017). Her journalism and books received numerous awards. One of Us won the Leipzig Book Fair Prize in 2018, while Two Sisters was named Norway’s nonfiction book of the year.
