Ashley Wood is an illustrator, painter, concept artist and comics writer. As a freelance artist, he worked for publishers including Marvel, DC Comics and Image Comics. He also contributed to the video game Metal Gear Solid and created work for film and television productions, clothing lines and toys. His awards include two Spectrum Gold Awards, an Eisner Award, three Eagle Awards, an Award of Excellence for Illustration and the 2011 Designer Toy Award for Artist of the Year.
