Ashley Dyer

Ashley Dyer is the pseudonym of English thriller writer Margaret Murphy and forensic expert Helen Pepper. Born and raised in Liverpool, Margaret Murphy has published numerous crime novels internationally. She was chair of the British Crime Writers’ Association and worked as a writing tutor and lecturer for the Royal Literary Fund. Helen Pepper worked as a crime-scene investigator and head of forensic services, examining more than 3,000 crime scenes. She also contributed to professional literature on forensic investigation and advised British television series including Vera and Shetland.
