Asako Yuzuki

Asako Yuzuki was born in Tokyo in 1981 and established herself as a writer. Her work received several awards, including the Noma Publishing Culture Award. Her novel “Butter” became a bestseller in Japan, where it sold 200,000 copies. The book was published in numerous languages and won the 2025 British Book Award. Yuzuki received the Yamamoto Shūgorō Prize for “Tokyo Girls Club”.
