A. S. Webb studied English literature and theatre studies at the University of Leeds. She was cast in series produced by the BBC, Channel 4 and Netflix, and wrote screenplays for short films as well as plays, some of which were staged at the Hampstead Theatre. Her debut novel, *Daughter of Chaos – Die Lüge der Götter*, reached the top positions on the *Sunday Times* bestseller list and launched a trilogy.
