Arne Jysch

Arne Jysch (born 1973) studied communication design and animation in Hamburg and Potsdam. He has worked as a storyboard artist and comic artist and taught storyboarding at the Film University Babelsberg. He is known in part for the graphic novel Der nasse Fisch, a drawn adaptation of Volker Kutscher’s crime novel of the same name, which became a major success and bestseller. Jysch also produced the award-winning short film Der Beste. Wave and Smile was his first comic.
