Arkady Martine

Arkady Martine is the pen name of a writer who has also published under the name Dr. AnnaLinden Weller as a Byzantine historian and urban planner. Her work addresses border politics, rhetoric, propaganda, and the limits of the world. She grew up in New York City and spent periods of her life in Turkey, Canada, and Sweden. Her debut novel is *Im Herzen des Imperiums*.
