Ariane Grundies

Ariane Grundies was born in Stralsund in 1979. She studied German and prose and poetry at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig and has worked as a freelance author since 2003. She has published books for adults and children, short stories, nonfiction, radio stories, and audiobooks, in some cases under a pseudonym. Her writing has received several awards and fellowships. In 2002, she won the Open Mike competition with a short story. As a ghostwriter, she also contributed to the Spiegel bestseller Ein Herz und eine Pflege.
