Ariana Franklin

Ariana Franklin was the pseudonym of British author and journalist Diana Norman (1948–2011). Norman began her career in journalism and became the youngest reporter on Fleet Street at almost twenty years of age. She later turned to the study of medieval history and to writing. She published critical biographies and historical novels. Her first historical crime novel under the pseudonym Ariana Franklin was The Mistress of the Art of Death, published in 2007 and featuring the forensic investigator Adelia.
