Antonio Ruiz-Camacho

Antonio Ruiz-Camacho was born in Toluca, Mexico, in 1973. Before becoming known as a writer, he worked as a journalist. His writing has appeared in various magazines, including The New York Times. He has received numerous fellowships, and his debut, “The Secret of the Mangroves” (German: “Denn sie sterben jung”), was included in year-end best-of lists by, among others, Kirkus Reviews, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the Texas Observer.
