Anton Zeilinger

Anton Zeilinger (born in 1945) is a quantum physicist who worked at the University of Vienna and the Austrian Academy of Sciences. His scientific work has received numerous honors, including the Order Pour le Mérite, the Grand Cross of Merit with Star of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics. In addition to specialist articles, he published the popular science books Einstein’s Veil (2003) and Dance of the Photons (German: Einsteins Spuk, 2005; new edition 2024).
