Anton Corbijn

Anton Corbijn (born 1955) is a Dutch photographer, videographer and film director. He is best known for his influential work with rock and pop musicians. He has created music videos, album covers and publicity photographs for artists including Joy Division, Depeche Mode, U2, Nirvana and The Rolling Stones. His predominantly black-and-white images often resemble film stills. In 2010, his portraits of figures from music, art and fashion were brought together in the exhibition and book publication “Inwards and Outwards”.
