Antje Szillat

Antje Szillat, born in Hanover, is a German author and former freelance editor. She wrote her first stories at the age of eight and turned to writing after a period in another profession. She published books for children, young adults and adults. Her best-known works include the children’s series “Flätscher” and the character “Rick.” Her books have been translated into more than twenty languages and received several awards, including the Leipziger Lesekompass and the Paderborner Hase. Her women’s novel “Nimm das Glück in beide Hände!” was also published.
