Anthony Scaramucci

Anthony Scaramucci (born 1964) is an American financier and lawyer with a doctorate in law. He began his career on Wall Street, including at Goldman Sachs, later worked as a hedge fund manager, and founded the New York investment firm SkyBridge Capital. In 2008, he worked as a fundraiser for Barack Obama; from 2010 onward, he supported Republican candidates. During Donald Trump’s first term, Scaramucci briefly served as White House communications director and was dismissed after ten days. He subsequently became a frequent critic of Trump’s policies.
